Welcome to this website, which summarises my research activities (Civil and Mechanical Engineering Laboratory – LGCGM – EA3913) at the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) in Rennes (France).

Areas of expertise

• Identification of the rheological behaviour of metallic materials under different conditions: large deformation, high temperatures, high strain rates, complex loading paths, etc.
• Prediction and characterisation of the formability of metal sheets, including the effect of strain path, temperature and strain rate
• Development of specific experimental procedures on a in-plane biaxial traction device
• Numerical simulation of forming processes: incremental forming, hydroforming, etc.
• Instabilities and scale effects in sandwich structures
